Job Description

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Supply a high level of product, technical and applications information to sales staff, manufacturers’ representatives and distributors, visit customers for advanced software applications, training and performance testing, and contribute to sales & marketing policies with relevant sales and support managers.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to achieve budget of dedicated products by providing advanced presentations, trials and tests with direct sales-force, manufacturers’ representatives, and distributors.

Work with the sales and technical staff as a team to improve their knowledge

Check new versions of software, contribute to beta versions testing. Follow-up on competition and transfer information

Job Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

5+ years in the following industries

Coatings, Plastic, Ink or Textile industry with direct experience in color quality control, color formulation, and process control.

Strong color matching application experience in one of the above industries

Education : Bachelor Degree / Master Degree

OTHER SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Communication skills to equal a level for (“technical and application consultant”)

Highest expertise in products applications and competition knowledge

Creativity in finding solutions and ability to transfer experiences from one solution to another

Teaching and Training Skills to be able to work with technical operators at all levels

Presentation Skills – able to present mid to high-level concepts effectively using PowerPoint, Excel.

IT knowledge in MS Windows, basic Server technology, CRM software

Proactive attitude

Able to work under time sensitive schedules

Ability to multi task

Working knowledge of Spanish/ Portuguese language a Plus (not a requirement)

MISCELLANEOUS

Additions such as vehicle/phone/laptop: Cell Phone & laptop

Physical Requirements: Able to sit for long periods, lift large instruments such as CM-3700A or CM-3600A when necessary

Other: Car Travel / Flying throughout the North America, South America regions

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Must be eligible to work in the US
