ASSOCIATE MANAGER, GLOBAL HEALTH OUTCOMES – WHITEHOUSE STATION, NJ: Develop outcomes research (OR) plans for products related to osteoporosis & develop studies. Work w/ countries to identify needs & secure local participation in relevant studies. Participate in the product/franchise-specific OR sub-teams & contribute in developing OR Strategy & Planning for developmental compounds. Implement programs to document burden of disease of unmet need, patient reported outcomes components & health economic aspects of disease to define value of drug therapy. Develop core deliverables incl. health economic evaluations & adaptation to generate country-specific data supporting pricing & reimbursement. Coordinate & validate study design, protocols, measurement questionnaires, case report forms, data analysis plans & final reports. Support affiliates by adapting health economic evaluations, customizing OR documents according to local requirements incl. protocols & reimbursement dossiers & data collection forms. May travel to ensure input into OR planning process & timely completion of projects. Present OR data at congresses & publish articles. PhD in Pharmacy Admin., Med., Pub. Health or closely related field. Expertise in designing & performing research in outcome research, epidemiology or health economics. Familiarity w/ regulatory, market. & reimbursement environments of OR worldwide & knowl. of SAS v 9.1, SPSS v 14.1 & STATA 9.0., MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Access & MS-Power-point & EndNote. Proficiency in retrospective database analysis using claims data or survey data, incl. MEPS & MDS. Exp. using stats techniques for observational studies incl. Zero inflated neg. binominal models, Multilevel modeling & Segmented regression. Proficiency in research methods & research design in health outcomes research. Exp. in review of scientific literature, proposal dev, data management, manuscript prep. & presentation.
