Empleo. Music Instructional Coordinator

Cliffside Park, N.J.: Develop instructional music material & coordinate musical content for parish liturgies. Provide leadership in areas related to music, e.g., selects & develops participation aids for the congregation, selects & maintains musical instruments, coordinates services & schedules of parish musicians, assures copyright permission, etc. Provide music & musicians for all Sunday & other major celebrations, including weddings, funerals, etc. & is visibly present at principal parish events, keeping attuned to the living faith & real concerns of the parish. Keep abreast of current developments in liturgy & in music. Must have a Master’s Degree (or its U.S. equivalent) in Music [Equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Music (or its U.S. equivalent) plus 5 years of experience in the field]. Employer is willing to accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Must have knwlg. & exp. in musical score reading & writing, composing/songwriting, choral & orchestra conducting, playing piano, & have expert knwlg of Christian music such as hymns and gospels.
